2008 Reunion: Mission Accomplished!
The 2008 edition of the Fahrlander Family
and Friends Reunion, hosted by Ginny Ramsey, and her family in Newton Kansas
was a rousing success. Even occasional rain
did little to dampen the enthusiasm, and efforts of our hosts. Ginny, her
girls
and son in law Tony Cuellar had a well-oiled machine going from the Friday
night barbecue in Tony and Dawn's back yard,
to a wonderful dinner and flawless auction on Saturday night. They are to be
heartily congratulated for such a tremendous
effort! While some old faces were missed, it was wonderful to get to meet
Danielle's (Ginny's daughter) family, Gina's new
hubby Kurt, and some sons and grandsons in the family. Roy Lindsay's first
appearance after a long absence was a surprise,
and we were happy to welcome Sage Olsen (Kelly Fahrlander's daughter) to her
first reunion.

Mark you calendars for a July 2010 gathering in the state capitol of the Lone Star State. Kim Alexander (Fahrlander) will be hosting the Fahrlander and Friends Family Reunion, and will plan some interesting outings and events. Details in future editions.

| Ginny Ramsey hasn't just been planning and executing a wonderful reunion. She has spent vast hours transcribing letters received by her grandfather (Hermann) that we might have them available to us online. Please check out this valuable family history asset.
